Jef Buehler

Jef Buehler serves as the Assistant Director of the New Jersey Business Action Center (NJBAC) in the New Jersey Department of State. He provides business enhancement services to municipalities, district management entities (both public and private), business organizations, other State and County agencies and organizations, businesses, non-profits, and New Jersey residents. These services include short- and longer-term technical assistance, training, guidance, feedback and analysis in district-wide business advocacy, place-based revitalization and placemaking, while supporting the NJBAC’s mission and goals of business growth and prosperity in our communities. Jef formerly reinvented and led New Jersey’s Neighborhood Preservation Program and Main Street NJ program and has worked in the place-based revitalization field for 30 years in New Jersey, Latin America, and across the U.S.
