MEDIA ADVISORY (02/98) CAMDEN – DEP Commissioner Bradley M. Campbell will hold a press conference tomorrow – October 10, 2002 – at 1:30 p.m. in Camden, in the eleventh floor conference room of the DEP’s Southern Region Offices located at One Port Center, 2 Riverside Drive, to announce results of a targeted, week-long environmental enforcement strike in the city of Camden. Since October 3, the DEP, in cooperation with local and federal officials, has conducted more than 600 inspections at sites throughout Camden to seek strict compliance with laws addressing water quality, solid and hazardous waste, air pollution and illegal land use activities. |
