Rules that are being considered by the State Board of Education and/or the Commissioner of Education.
- New Jersey Statutes Annotated (N.J.S.A.) Title 18A
The State Board of Education and Commissioner of Education adopt regulations to implement specific portions of education law. Education rules and regulations must be grounded in state education law. - Rulemaking Petitions
Pursuant to N.J.A.C. 1:30-4.1, members of the public can petition the Department to modify or repeal existing rules or to adopt new rules.
