Restricted Parking and Stopping

Route NJ 173
(a) The certain parts of State Highway Route NJ 173 described in this subsection are designated and established as "no stopping or standing" zones where stopping or standing is prohibited at all times, except in areas covered by other parking restrictions adopted in accordance with the Administrative Procedure Act, NJSA 52:14B-1 et seq., and NJAC 1:30. In accordance with the NJSA 39:4-198, proper signs shall be erected.
1. In Warren County:
i. In the Township of Greenwich:
(1) No stopping or standing along the westbound (northerly) side:
(A) From a point 200 feet east of the center line of the Stewartsville-Bloomsbury-Warren Glen Road to the center line of the Stewartsville-Bloomsbury-Warren Glen Road.
2. In Hunterdon County: Note: State Highway Route NJ 173 is coincident with State Highway Route I-78 from mileposts 11.70 to 12.81.
i. In the Borough of Bloomsbury:
(1) No stopping or standing along both sides:
(A) For the entire length within the corporate limits, including all ramps and connections thereto, which are under the jurisdiction of the Commissioner of Transportation; except in areas covered by other approved parking restrictions.
ii. In the Township of Bethlehem:
(1) No stopping or standing along both sides:
(A) For the entire length within the corporate limits, including all ramps and connections thereto, which are under the jurisdiction of the Commissioner of Transportation; except in areas covered by other approved parking restrictions.
iii. In the Township of Union:
(1) No stopping or standing along both sides:
(A) For the entire length within the corporate limits, including all ramps and connections thereto, which are under the jurisdiction of the Commissioner of Transportation; except in areas covered by other approved parking restrictions.
(B) From a point 500 feet east of the easterly curb line of County Road 635 (Jutland-Norton Road) to a point 500 feet west of the westerly curb line of County Road 635.
iv. In the Township of Franklin:
v. In the Town of Clinton:
(1) No stopping or standing along the eastbound (southerly) side:
(A) From a point 500 feet west of the center line of Main Street to the Town of Clinton-Township of Clinton corporate line.
(2) No stopping or standing along the westbound (northerly) side:
(A) From the Town of Clinton-Township of Clinton corporate line to the easterly end of the bridge over the South Branch of the Raritan River.
(b) The certain parts of State Highway Route NJ 173 described in this subsection shall be designated and established as "no parking bus stop" zones where parking is prohibited at all times. In accordance with the provisions of NJSA 39:4-199, permission is granted to erect appropriate signs at the following established bus stops:
1. In Hunterdon County:
i. In the Town of Clinton:
(1) Far side bus stops along the westbound (northerly) side:
(A) New Street (90 feet).
(c) The certain parts of State Highway Route NJ 173 described in this subsection shall be designated and established as "time limit parking" zones where parking is prohibited except as specified below. In accordance with the provisions of NJSA 39:4-199, permission is granted to erect appropriate signs at the following established time limit parking zones:
1. In Hunterdon County:
i. In the Township of Bethlehem:
(1) Two hour time limit parking, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week:
(A) For the entire Rest Area within the Jugtown Mountain Rest Area confines.
(d) The certain parts of State Highway Route NJ 173 described in this subsection shall be designated and established as "no stopping or standing during certain hours" zones where stopping or standing is prohibited as specified below. In accordance with the provisions of NJSA 39:4-198, permission is granted to erect appropriate signs at the following established "no stopping or standing during certain hours" zones:
1. In Hunterdon County:
i. In the Town of Clinton:
(1) No stopping or standing along the westbound (northerly) side from 4:00 PM to 6:30 PM, except Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays:
(A) Beginning at a point 35 feet west of the prolongation of the westerly curb line of Hancock Street to the Route I-78/US 22 off-ramp (approximate milepost 13.15).
