Speed Limits for State Roads

(a)	The rate of speed designated for the certain parts of State Highway Route NJ 122 (formerly known as US 22 Alt.) described in this subsection are hereby established and adopted as the maximum legal rate of speed:
1.	In Warren County:
	NOTE: State Highway Route NJ 122 is under county (Warren County) jurisdiction from approximate mileposts 0.00 to 0.79.
	i.In the Township of Pohatcong:
(1)	For both directions of traffic:
	(A) Zone 1: 35 MPH between the Town of Phillipsburg – Pohatcong Township corporate line and Dalton Street (approximate mileposts 0.79 to 0.89); thence
	(B) Zone 2: 30 MPH between Dalton Street and New Jersey Avenue (approximate mileposts 0.89 to 1.46); thence
	(C) Zone 3: 40 MPH between New Jersey Avenue and the westernmost Pohatcong Township – Alpha Borough corporate line (approximate mileposts 1.46 to 1.55); thence
	(D) Zone 4: 45 MPH between the easternmost Alpha Borough – Pohatcong Township corporate line and Route US 22 (end of route) (approximate mileposts 1.80 to 2.42).


	ii. In the Borough of Alpha:
(1)	For both directions of traffic:
	(A) Zone 1: 40 MPH between the westernmost Pohatcong Township – Alpha Borough corporate line and easternmost Alpha Borough – Pohatcong Township corporate line (approximate mileposts 1.55 to 1.80); thence
