The Capital City Redevelopment Corporation is launching a new program to attract experienced small business owners to the Capital District. CCRC will make available up a total of $1,000,000 as a financing incentive, in the form of a repayable grant, to cover eligible capital improvement costs. Applicants may request a minimum of $50,000 and up to a maximum of $500,000 in repayable grant funds. Applications will be accepted on a rolling basis until funds of the program are exhausted, full program details, eligibility requirements and application requirements can be found in the Notice of Funding Availability .
Please note: The CCRC Board of Directors approved the Small Business Attraction Program (the "Program") on May 14, 2026. All actions of the CCRC Board of Directors are subject to a 10 business day veto period, which has not elapsed, and upon the expiration of such the Program will take full effect on June 4, 2026. Any application submitted prior to the end of the veto period may be subject to termination.
