Public Defender Krakora has announced that the Appellate Section Pro Bono Partnership Program is off to an excellent start under the direction of Deputy Public Defender Joseph J. Russo and First Assistant Deputy Public Defender Alison Perrone. In less than one month of the Program’s commencement, 30 appeals have been assigned to prominent law firms in NJ and NY. The Appellate Section has conducted training sessions with the pro bono firms.
