In a case argued by ADPD Stephanie Lutz, the SHU convinced the Court that a 2002 amendment to Megan’s Law could not be applied retroactively to individuals convicted before the amendment.  This outcome potentially opens the door for as many as several hundred individuals to get off Megan’s Law status.
