Rain Barrel Challenge Water Festival 2015
The 2015 Barnegat Bay Blitz Rain Barrel Challenge Water Festival was held on Tuesday, June 10, at the Switlik Elementary School in Jackson.
Seven water-related interactive workshops were held for all of the fourth grade classes at the school since the winner of the 2015 Barnegat Bay Blitz Rain Barrel Challenge was a fourth grade class. Specialized assembly programs were also presented to the rest of the students in grades K-3 and 5, and these programs featured guest appearances by Woodsy Owl, Smokey Bear and Treeture the Squirrel.
The DEP would like to recognize all of the 2015 Water Festival partners and DEP programs that participated in the Water Festival and helped make it an educational, hands-on and memorable program for Switlik Elementary School students and faculty. Special thanks to:
