A new supportive housing development in Montvale is creating fresh opportunities for New Jersey veterans to find a path to dignity, stability, and a place to call home. The six-unit complex, designed specifically for veterans experiencing homelessness or living with disabilities, represents another meaningful step forward in the state’s ongoing efforts to effectively end veteran homelessness.

The project, realized through a public and private partnership, complements the ongoing work of Bringing Veterans Home, a key initiative led by the Department of Community Affairs with support from the New Jersey Department of Veterans Affairs. Since its launch in January 2025, Bringing Veterans Home has helped to permanently house more than 2,000 veterans across the Garden State. These results demonstrate what is possible through strong collaboration, targeted investment, and an unwavering commitment to those who have served.

Developments like the one in Montvale represent a pathway forward for veterans facing housing insecurity, offering not just shelter, but the support and foundation needed to thrive.
