At the New Jersey Veterans Memorial Home at Paramus, residents recently participated in a hands-on, no-bake strawberry activity that combined creativity, engagement, and therapeutic value.

Guided by occupational therapy principles, each step—from scooping and slicing to assembling—supported fine motor skills with functional independence. Activities like these play an important role in enhancing quality of life for our Veteran residents. Carol (pictured center, below) added that they were “delicious” too!
