Office of Interdistrict Choice and Nonpublic Schools

The office is responsible for operating the Interdistrict School Choice Program as approved under the Interdistrict Public School Choice Program Act of 2010, N.J.S.A.  18A:36B. The office reviews district applications, supports choice districts in program implementation, and maintains a parent information phone line and website with student application timelines, processes, forms, and links to approved choice districts. The office also manages several state-funded nonpublic school programs, including nursing, textbooks, and various student support services.
