Enrollment in the 2026-27 School Year

| Submit application data to NJDOE homeroom (Supplemental Choice Part 1). This data determines the choice enrollment maximum. | 11/25/2025 – 12/3/2025 |
| Send the Resident District Confirmation of Student Enrollment to resident districts. | 12/1/2025 |
| Resident districts return the Resident District Confirmation of Student Enrollment. | 12/5/2025 |
| If there is a lottery, notify all choice applicants of the lottery. | 12/9/2025 |

October 14 Deadline for Late Applicants
Choice districts may accept late applications until October 14 of the enrollment year. However, no new applicants can be enrolled above the choice district's approved maximum enrollment, with the exception of students who received a waiver of the application deadline. Late applicants can be considered for enrollment only after those who applied before the deadline.
