Other Administrator Evaluation
Those district and school leaders not serving as principal, AP or VP also play a central, many times more specialized, role in the professional and academic success of everyone in their district or school. The recommendation is to evaluate these leaders with a process and tool specific to their responsibilities. Therefore, more local flexibility is provided.

Observation Requirements
- Tenured
- One required observation each school year.
- Non-Tenured
- Two required observations each school year.
Observation Best Practices
When observing other administrators, you should be consistent when developing goals. If you require goals for one, you should require them for all. You have flexibility in how you use the evaluation instrument. We recommend that you evaluate domains and indicators that apply to the leader’s job functions and responsibilities.
