Sandy Hook Promise Say Something Implementation Workshops

Program Goals

Trains students to look for warning signs and threats especially on social media of someone who may be at risk of hurting themselves or others, and to tell a Trusted Adult to get help.

This program reinforces three essential steps

  1. Recognize Warning Signs and Threats
  2. Act Immediately; Take It Seriously
  3. “Say Something” to a Trusted Adult

What are Implementation Workshops?

Ideal for educators, school counselors, mental health specialists, school  resource officers, SAVE Promise Club advisors, and administrators interested in implementing Sandy Hook Promise (SHP) Know the Signs violence prevention programs at a classroom and/or school level.  Participants receive a workbook, action plan, and access to the Digital Learning Center and curriculum.

Workshop Goal:

Participants will be equipped with the knowledge and resources to bring the Say Something program to their students, classrooms, and/or school communities.
