Consulting Audiologists and Evaluators for Students who are Deaf/Hard of Hearing

The resource list of child study team professionals for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing is a list of individuals who, by self-report, possess the stated certification and have expertise in working with students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing. The DOE neither endorses nor attest to the veracity of the information. It is the responsibility of districts to ensure that anyone considered for a child study team evaluation holds the appropriate certification and is proficient in the language of the student. Credentials: Each school or school district must ensure receipt of the required New Jersey professional credentials from the individual/clinic/agency for each contracted service provider. In addition, the school or school district must ensure receipt of the service provider's New Jersey Department of Education Criminal History Review approval from the individual/clinic/agency.
