The Office of Special Education (OSE) is excited to introduce a two–day professional learning event “2025 New Teacher Academy (NTA)” at the Learning Resource Center Central (LRC-Central) in Trenton, NJ. The theme for the NTA is, “Empowering Educators. Inspiring Generations,” reflects the OSE’s commitment to fostering the growth and success of early-career educators. 

The NTA is designed to offer high-quality, impactful professional learning experiences that support educators in their first through third years of teaching. This year’s NTA emphasizes research-based, high-leverage, and inclusive practices, featuring engaging, practical activities tailored to meet the needs of new teachers across various educational settings. In addition to the in-person learning opportunity, participants will be invited to attend four virtual professional learning community (PLC) meetings. Each session is designed to build on topics introduced during the summer academy and provide ongoing support throughout the school year.
