"I nominated Joe Sanzari as New Jersey’s Commissioner to the Waterfront Commission to ensure our state’s transition to a new governing agency at our ports would be in capable hands. With an expansive history of public service, philanthropy, and the promotion of economic development, I knew Joe was the right person for the job. Joe led with honor and distinction and I thank him for his service and his willingness to continue supporting our state’s efforts to move New Jersey forward in other capacities. I will be nominating his successor shortly."
