South Jersey Export Webinar Series Continues with Salem County on Thursday, July 17

Over the past seven weeks, the New Jersey Business Action Center (NJBAC) Office of Export Promotion hosted the first five webinars of the “South Jersey Export Webinar Series,” with a focus on Cape May County, Atlantic County, Ocean County, Camden County, and Cumberland County. The webinar series, a collaborative effort with the Chamber of Commerce of Southern New Jersey, local chambers of commerce, economic development offices, and business organizations, continues on Thursday, July 17 with Salem County.

Both product-based and service-based businesses are invited to learn how to conduct international market research, start an export plan, and assess their company’s export readiness. Register for this upcoming, no-cost webinar. 

NJ Pavilion to Highlight Garden State Food and Beverage Companies at the 2025 Fancy Food Show

This year, the NJ Pavilion will support 28 food and beverage companies, making it the largest State pavilion at North America’s largest specialty food trade show! Though the NJ Pavilion is now full, please stop by and visit the NJBAC’s booth (#6307) if you are at the Summer Fancy Food Show from June 29 – July 1! 

The NJ Pavilion will include exhibitors showcasing snacks, beverages and much more. From gluten-free specialty snack foods, to farm-fresh value-added agricultural products, the NJ Pavilion will feature an eclectic mix of brands proud to represent the diverse Garden State.

New Jersey is the Fifth Smallest State but has the Tenth Largest Gross Domestic Product (GDP)

According to the U.S. Census Bureau, New Jersey is the fifth smallest state. With a land area of 7,354 square miles, only Hawaii (6,423 square miles), Connecticut (4,842 square miles), Delaware (1,949 square miles), and Rhode Island (1,034 square miles) are smaller.

At the same time, and according to the U.S Bureau of Economic Analysis, the State's 2024 GDP of $846.6 billion ranks tenth largest, behind larger states Washington ($854.7 billion), Georgia ($882.5 billion) and Ohio ($927.7 billion).

Going one step further, New Jersey has $115.1 million of GDP per square mile. This ranks first among all the states, more than New York ($48.7 million), Florida ($31.8 million), California ($26.3 million), and Texas ($10.4 million).
