Lieutenant Governor Way Cuts Ribbon for 3rd Annual NJ Pavilion at the Summer Fancy Food Show
This past June, the NJ Pavilion supported 28 food and beverage companies, making it the biggest State pavilion at North America’s largest specialty food trade show! On Monday, June 30, Lieutenant Governor Tahesha Way attended the ribbon-cutting ceremony and met with each of the 28 new-to-export Garden State exhibitors. Before the trade show, exhibiting companies participated in foreign buyers meetings in collaboration with Food Export USA Northeast. Exhibitors also attended “Diners, Buyers & Suppliers,” an exclusive networking event with the New Jersey Food Council (NJFC) Leadership Development Program.
NJ Business Magazine Cover Story Features NJBAC Executive Director on Export Assistance
The July 2025 issue of New Jersey Business Magazine, the Garden State’s longest-standing business publication, featured NJBAC Executive Director, Melanie Willoughby, on its cover story “Navigating Global Trade Assistance.” In the article, Executive Director Willoughby advocates, “so much of the world is open to these companies if they just think outside their borders.” The article highlights “NJBAC’s Office of Export Promotion has helped 6,900 companies and has awarded over $9 million to small businesses since 2012,” generating “$360 million in actual sales of export products, and 2,500 jobs.”
Eight-Part South Jersey Export Webinar Series Concludes…More Trainings Coming Soon!
The New Jersey Business Action Center (NJBAC) Office of Export Promotion wrapped up the eight-part South Jersey Export Webinar Series on August 21. The webinar series was a collaborative effort with the Chamber of Commerce of Southern New Jersey, local chambers of commerce, economic development offices, and business organizations to help local businesses learn how to conduct international market research, start an export plan, and assess their company’s export readiness.
