Senior Freeze Eligibility

Was your home subject to property taxes for both 2021 and 2022?

  • Payments-in-Lieu-of-Tax (P.I.L.O.T. payments) are not property taxes for purposes of the Senior Freeze (Property Tax Reimbursement).
  • Totally and permanently disabled veterans who received a 100% exemption from local property taxes are not eligible for a reimbursement on their principal residence.
