The DCF Regional School Ocean Campus is a 12-month, state-operated alternative school designed to meet the diverse needs of students who are facing educational challenges. Our mission is to provide a supportive, student-centered learning environment where every individual is given a chance to succeed academically, socially, and emotionally. We specialize in small class sizes, individualized instruction, and wraparound support services that help students build the skills necessary to transition successfully back to their home district school setting, into higher education, or to the workforce.
Each student receives an Individualized Program Plan (IPP) or Individualized Education Plan (IEP) tailored to their unique needs and goals. We provide transportation, breakfast, and lunch daily, and offer two core programs: the Transitional Education Center (TEC), which supports year-round academic instruction and personal development, and Project TEACH, which is designed to meet the educational and parenting needs of young parents. With a strong emphasis on personal growth, career readiness, and academic achievement, our dedicated staff empowers students to become responsible, self-sufficient members of their communities.
