Toms River Basin Watershed Restoration Plan
Development of a Watershed Restoration Plan for the Toms River Basin has been identified as an important component of the Strategy by both DEP and partners. Monitoring and modeling indicate that the Toms River watershed contributes a significant load of nutrients into the Barnegat Bay. The development of this plan will result in a list of prioritized actions to address non-point source pollution and are specific to the Toms River watershed. The development of a watershed plan will make implementation eligible for funding through future Water Quality Restoration Grants.
