NJ 1040 DMA Military Charitable Funds
Overview
Each taxpayer shall have the opportunity to indicate on the taxpayer’s New Jersey gross income tax return that a portion of the taxpayer’s tax refund or an enclosed contribution shall be deposited in any of the special funds listed below. (These are funds maintained by the NJ Department of Military Affairs) **

New Jersey Yellow Ribbon Fund
The New Jersey Yellow Ribbon Fund was established for the purposes of providing support including, but not be limited to, support to defray the costs of food, housing, medical services, and other expenses for Servicemembers and their families affected by deployments.

The National Guard State Family Readiness Council assesses the needs of the New Jersey National Guard families, recommends solutions to meet those needs, and seeks implementation of solutions on a state level.
