SEH Program Data |
The following data is routinely available regarding the SEH Program: |
|
- Enrollment Data - derived from reports filed by carriers. There are three enrollment reports shown. The SEH Plan report shows the enrollment of small employers, employees and dependents by standard plan type (including plans offered with selective contracting arrangements – that is, PPO and POS options), and grandfathered nonstandard plans. The SEH Carriers report shows the enrollment of small employers, employees and dependents by carrier. The Historical report provides aggregated enrollment data by year, beginning with 4Q 1994.
- Assessments and Reconciliations - tables display the data used by the SEH Board to determine carrier liability for SEH Program assessments for administrative expenses.
- New Jersey SEH Loss Ratio Reports - show the average loss ratio for the SEH market, as well as loss ratios by carrier with information on premiums, claims and dividends (refunds or credits), if any. Loss ratios and any refunds or credits set forth in these reports were determined based on New Jersey law; this information is not about the Medical Loss Ratio (MLR) required under federal law. The posted New Jersey SEH Loss Ratio Reports begin with calendar year 2006 data (reported in 2007).
- Budgets - the SEH program operates on a fiscal year basis ending June 30th annually. Initial administrative assessments are based upon fiscal year budgets approved by the SEH Board.
- SEH Audit Reports - provide the independent financial audits of the SEH Program expenses, on which reconciliations of administrative expense assessments are based.
- SEH Average Rate Changes – Rate filings are submitted to the department by carriers.
