DRBC Staff Perform Winter Ammonia Monitoring in the Delaware Estuary

Through its Delaware Estuary Boat Run Program, the DRBC monitors ammonia levels in the Delaware Estuary from April through October. The commission would like to understand the system better by also tracking ammonia levels during the winter months.

Staff have been monitoring ammonia levels at various points in the Delaware Estuary this winter. This monitoring will give the commission a more complete picture of ammonia concentrations in the Delaware Estuary.
