Andrea Roseborough Eberhard, Public Member to the Board of Amistad Commissioners

Ms. Andrea Roseborough-Eberhard

Ms. Andrea “Ane” Roseborough-Eberhard, appointed as a public member to the Board of Amistad Commissioners on October 24, 2017 by the Speaker of the General Assembly, the Honorable Vincent Prieto is a public servant of many talents.

Her life’s journey includes living the life of an ‘Army brat’ in Oklahoma, South Carolina and Germany. As an adult Ane entered the world that ranged from business and entertainment to molding young minds as an elementary and high school  classroom teacher.

On the music business and entertainment world side, her activities are an impressive panoply of marketing & planning, consulting, product placement, branding and serving as marketing executive for firms such as RCA Records, Island Records, Sony Music and Bad Boy Entertainment that gave her world travel and brought her into contact with notable celebrities here and abroad. In 2022 Ms. Roseborough-Eberhard used her talents to start her own boutique record label

In her parallel life, she is an educator, in Weehawken- a classroom teacher. At first. An elementary school teacher aa Theodore Roosevelt School where she  taught an inclusive class of fifth graders. Ms. Roseborough-Eberhard next step was to serve as the district coordinator for the District Spelling Bee; organize and create the annual school Cultural Show and serve as the Weehawken High School’s Black Student Union advisor. In addition to these volunteer activities, she ran for congressional district nomination in her county and, she teaches currently history at Weehawken High School. Along the way, she added to her certification in Elementary Education a Masters degree and certification in K-12 Social Studies and in her spare time, serves as a board member of the Edeyo Foundation School, Haiti. And, she is always mother to her two children, Nia and Dani , now college students themselves..
