Rosie Grant serves as the Executive Director of the Paterson Education Fund (PEF), where she has devoted more than three decades to transformative educational leadership. Throughout her tenure, Rosie has built a reputation as a catalyst for sustainable change by designing and executing strategies that foster community engagement, strengthen public education, and support nonprofit growth. 

With deep expertise in organizational development, Rosie has led internal and external capacity-building efforts that have strengthened operational infrastructure, improved program outcomes, and enhanced community partnerships. She has successfully developed and guided cross-functional teams, implemented evaluation systems, and led numerous strategic planning processes in collaboration with nonprofit boards and staff. Her work has included advising on and co-authoring articles of incorporation, bylaws, and 501(c)(3) applications for emerging organizations.

Rosie’s leadership in board development is evidenced by her extensive service on local, state, and national boards and coalitions. She is a founding board member of Save Our Schools NJ and currently serves on the boards of the NJ Community Schools Coalition, the Gertrude Butts Memorial Association, and the Passaic County FEMA Emergency Food and Shelter Program, among others. In each role, she has brought a strong fiduciary acumen, vision alignment, and a commitment to inclusive governance.

Rosie is a sought-after facilitator and strategist known for guiding difficult conversations, advancing equity-centered leadership development, and aligning mission with measurable impact. Her ability to mobilize diverse stakeholders—students, families, educators, and civic leaders—has made her a trusted voice in public education and nonprofit advancement.

In addition to her executive role, Rosie continues to consult on strategic planning and board leadership for nonprofits, faith-based institutions, and grassroots organizations. Her commitment to community stewardship and systemic improvement reflects a career grounded in purpose, accountability, and transformation.
