Authorized to Teach
The Health Fitness #4115 endorsement entitles the holder to teach in New Jersey Department of Education (NJDOE)-approved career and technical education (CTE) courses in the following programs, and programs of study under the following Classification of Instructional Programs (CIP) codes.

Option 1: Bachelor's Degree or Higher
Bachelor’s degree program or higher that is approved by the Commission on Accreditation of Athletic Training Education, or its successor.
Option 2: Associate Degree with Employment Experience
This option is not available.
Option 3: Employment Experience Only
Candidates with employment or self-employment experience only are not eligible to apply for this teaching endorsement.

Candidates must submit a copy their current Athletic Trainer License issued by the New Jersey Athletic Training Advisory Committee.

Employment experience is only required if the candidate is obtaining certification using one of the following:
- Grade point average (GPA) exception under Option 1: Bachelor's Degree or Higher
- Option 2: Associate Degree with Employment Experience
- Option 3: Employment Experience Only
Candidates using option 1 without the GPA exception are not required to have employment experience.
