Climate Change Education: New Jersey Student Learning Standards
Revisions to the New Jersey Student Learning Standards (NJSLS) are underway throughout 2026 in all content areas except English Language Arts (ELA) and Mathematics (Math). This page will reflect those changes in the coming months.
In the meantime, please check the Standards Transparency and Mastery Platform (STAMP) regularly for guidance documents and resources related to the existing standards and ongoing revisions. The Key Elements of High-Quality Climate Change Education also can support the development of interdisciplinary learning opportunities and instructional materials, particularly when coupled with professional learning opportunities offered by the Climate Change Learning Collaboratives.
