The Office of Federal and State Audits

The Office of Federal and State Audits is comprised of the Single Grants Audit Unit (SGAU), the State Aid Audit Unit (SAAU), and the Methods of Administration (MOA) Civil Rights Compliance Review Program. These teams help ensure educational providers are adequately supported in accordance with the New Jersey Department of Education guidelines.

Single Grants Audit Unit (SGAU)

The SGAU is a diverse team who are committed to ensuring federal funds and public money is spent as required primarily for students in accordance with applicable legislation, regulations, and departmental guidelines.

State Aid Audit Unit (SAAU)

The SAAU is comprised of audit professionals with various years of private and governmental experience who are dedicated to ensuring federal awards are expended and state financial assistance is adequately supported.

Methods of Administration (MOA) Civil Rights Compliance Review Program

The MOA compliance review process is performed by a diverse team that focuses on equity, access, and educational excellence for students enrolled in CTE programs of student in accordance with applicable civil rights legislation, OCR regulations, and the Guidelines for Vocational Education Programs.
