Teen Dating Violence

Teen dating violence is a pattern or series of destructive behaviors used to control, dominate, and exert power over a dating partner. In accordance with N.J.S.A. 18A:35-4.23a, instruction regarding dating violence in grades 7-12 is required.

It is important for students to learn the difference between healthy and unhealthy relationships and educators can play an important role in helping students recognize abuse and seek the help they need.
