TRENTON – Governor Mikie Sherrill today lifted the State of Emergency declared across all 21 counties in New Jersey through Executive Order No. 14, effective at 12:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 22, 2026, in response to the second major winter storm to impact the state.

“New Jersey once again showed our readiness and resilience during this second major winter storm,” said Governor Sherrill. “I’m grateful to the state and local workers who swiftly cleared roads, restored power, and supported residents. Thank you to the people of New Jersey who stayed off the roads—your cooperation ensured we safely and efficiently got through this storm.”

With the signing of Executive Order No. 15, the State of Emergency was terminated across the state, effective today, Wednesday, February 25, 2026, at 6:00 p.m.
