TRENTON – Governor Mikie Sherrill today signed Executive Order 22 to continue the Judicial Advisory Panel, which assists the Governor in evaluating candidates for appointment to the Superior Court of New Jersey and Supreme Court of New Jersey.
The order establishes an eight-member panel, including at least five former judges, and provides that the Governor will designate its chair.
The members of the Judicial Advisory Panel are:
- Justice Jaynee LaVecchia (Chair) (Ret.)
- Chief Justice James R. Zazzali (Ret.)
- Justice Virginia A. Long (Ret.)
- Justice Lee A. Solomon (Ret.)
- Honorable Julio Mendez (Ret.)
- Honorable Bonnie Mizdol (Ret.)
- Honorable Charles Dortch (Ret.)
- John Keefe, Jr. Esq.
