Garden State Preservation Trust

Untitled Document

The parks do not belong to one town or to one county. High Point, Island Beach, Monmouth Battlefield, Liberty State Park are properties in which every citizen has a vested interest. A visit inspires love of New Jersey, begets contentment, engenders pride of possession, contains the antidote for restlessness (and pandemic fatigue). They are better citizens with a keener appreciation of the privilege of living who have toured the parks.

Appropriations represent a mix of funds from the GSPT sales tax dedication, bonds, 2007 & 2009 General Obligation bond issues and the 2014 Corporation Business Tax dedication (including Diesel Risk Mitigation Funds). Reallocation and re-appropriation of loan repayments is NOT included.
