Media Advisory: NJ Officials Partner with Hospitals on Intelligence & Information Sharing
WHAT: New Jersey Department of Health Acting Commissioner, Cathleen Bennett, and Office of Homeland Security and Preparedness Director, Dr. Chris Rodriguez, showcase state’s partnership with hospitals during public health emergencies. Officials will demonstrate how the state collects and uses data from hospitals during emergencies through its Regional Operations Intelligence Center.

BACKGROUND: The New Jersey Cybersecurity & Communications Integration Cell (NJCCIC)—the state's one-stop shop for cybersecurity information sharing, threat analysis, and incident reporting—and the National Health Information Sharing and Analysis Center (NH-ISAC) will execute a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU). The MOU will formalize the organizations’ partnership to share and analyze cyber threat information on behalf of New Jersey's healthcare and public health institutions to enhance their ability to prepare for and respond to threats and vulnerabilities.
