New Jersey Department of Health Testing Finds Individual Negative for Novel Coronavirus
Test results have come back negative for the person in New Jersey who was under investigation for novel coronavirus. This person was isolated at home and not hospitalized. It is important to note that, with the change in "person under investigation definition," we are likely going to be testing more individuals. Most New Jersey residents are at low risk for novel coronavirus, if individuals are having symptoms, the illness is much more likely to be caused by common respiratory viruses such as flu or the common cold.
