“An employee working in the Commissioner’s Office tested positive for COVID-19 last night. The employee was last in the building yesterday and is currently isolating at home.
Out of an abundance of caution and in line with the Department’s guidance, Health Commissioner Judith Persichilli and some members of the staff who work in the Office of the Commissioner at the Department of Health in Trenton will work from home and voluntarily quarantine. The Commissioner has no symptoms. Anyone who may have come into contact with our colleague during the potential infection window will quarantine. The Office of the Commissioner will be cleaned today according to CDC recommendations.
The Commissioner will resume in-person public appearances after completing quarantine in accordance with current CDC quarantine guidance."
