Elizabeth A. Mattson - Chair, NJ State Council on the Arts

Elizabeth A. Mattson is the Chair of the New Jersey State Council on the Arts.

Elizabeth A. Mattson was an elementary school teacher as well as an Educational Consultant for Harcourt Brace School Publishers before joining the staff of then Senator John Corzine in his Newark, New Jersey office. Upon Senator Corzine’s election to Governor of New Jersey, Ms. Mattson was appointed as the Executive Director of Drumthwacket, the Official Residence of the Governor of New Jersey.

Ms. Mattson is Chair of the Advisory Board of the Passaic Neighborhood Center for Women, a board Member of the MAYO PAC in Morristown and a member of the Board of the New Jersey Motion Picture and Television Commission of the State of New Jersey.
