Lead in Drinking Water - Public Water System Information

Earlier this year, lead in drinking water became a matter of national discussion, and as a result, the Division of Water Supply and Geoscience began further re-evaluating all components and requirements of the Lead and Copper Rule.  Additional guidance has also been provided by the United States Environmental Protection Agency.  To keep public water systems informed, the Division has recently sent out correspondence regarding the Division’s progress on the implementation efforts that are underway.
