New Jersey State Agricultural Convention
The New Jersey State Agricultural Convention is the premier statewide gathering for farmers, agribusiness professionals, agricultural organizations, educators, and partner agencies dedicated to supporting and advancing New Jersey’s diverse agricultural community. Held each year, the convention provides a central forum for collaboration, learning, and discussion on the issues and opportunities shaping agriculture across the Garden State.
Throughout the multi‑day event, attendees participate in workshops, panel discussions, and educational sessions led by industry experts and state officials. Topics range from agricultural policy and regulatory updates to conservation, marketing, food systems, emerging technologies, and current challenges facing New Jersey producers. Exhibitors and agency partners share resources, programs, and tools designed to strengthen and support agricultural operations of all sizes.
A core part of the convention is the annual business meeting of the New Jersey State Board of Agriculture, where delegates consider resolutions, hear reports, and help shape agricultural policy for the coming year. Recognition ceremonies honor outstanding leaders and contributors within the agricultural community, highlighting the achievements and innovation happening across the state.
The convention also offers valuable networking opportunities, bringing together farmers, industry leaders, service providers, government representatives, and community stakeholders. Whether you are directly involved in production agriculture, support the industry through programs and services, or simply care about the future of New Jersey farming, the Annual Agricultural Convention provides a meaningful space to connect, learn, and help guide the direction of agriculture in New Jersey.
