The Human Resources Office oversees a number of programs essential to support the department’s personnel objectives. Among these are workforce planning, classification and compensation, recruitment, salary and benefit administration, employee relations, performance assessment, personnel policy and procedures development, and training coordination.

The NJDA Information Technology Unit is the backbone of the Department’s digital operations, delivering secure, reliable, and innovative technology solutions to support agriculture programs statewide. We design and maintain enterprise systems and network infrastructure across Department locations (including Animal Health and Plant Laboratories), provide responsive helpdesk and application services, and leverage Geographic Information Systems (GIS) for accurate, actionable data.
Our team focuses on improving online services, protecting your information, and using advanced tools like cloud platforms to deliver faster, smarter solutions. By operating under a consolidated IT environment, we maximize efficiency, optimize resources, and enable seamless collaboration across all divisions of the Department.
The New Jersey Department of Agriculture provides access to government records as required in P.L. 1963, c.73(C:47:1A-1 et seq.) as amended and supplemented.
