The State Board of Agriculture is seeking candidates to serve as farmer members on the State Agriculture Development Committee (SADC)

The SADC plays a vital role in:
✅ Administering NJ’s Farmland Preservation Program
✅ Promoting agricultural viability
✅ Overseeing the Right to Farm Program
What to know
Term: 4 years
Eligibility: Must be actively engaged in farming (ownership of farmland not required, but most farmer members do own land)
Commitment: Monthly meetings (typically the 4th Thursday), plus occasional subcommittee meetings
Deadline to apply: April 1, 2026
