1. My course still says "In Progress", but I completed the course.

  • Ensure the user has completed all of the modules in the course.
  • If the course has an assesment, ensure the user received a passing score.
  • If the user has successfully completed all of the requirements of the course, Adobe Flash may need to be updated on the pc to update the completion status.

2. I launched the course, but I don't see it.

  • The course will open in a new window. If the new window does not appear, ensure that the pop-up blocker is disabled.

3. I do not see a user in the User Manager.

  • If the user is a transfer from another department, their PMIS account should be updated to the correct appointing authority. The LMS will update and add them to your group within 24 hours.
  • If the user is a new hire, their account needs to be setup in the following source systems:
    • PMIS - Personnel Information
    • NJ DIRECT - With an email address
    • EPAR - With a supervisor assigned to the account
  • If the user is a current employee, their account may have been archived. To reactivate the account, navigate to the User Manager, open "Advanced Search" and remove the "Active" filter from the status field and then search for the user. Open the user's account and click "Activate Now".

4. I assigned a course to a user but the user did not receive the email.

  • Due to Microsoft Outlook settings, unidentified email notifications will automatically get sent to Clutter or the Junk inbox.
  • Due to the Linked Registration Expiration (LRE) 365 rule, if a year has not passed since the user was initially assigned the same course, they will not be reassigned and a notification will not be sent.

5. The incorrect supervisor is assigned to a user.

  • The new supervisor should be updated in ePAR first and the LMS will update within 24 hours.

6. The user's email address is incorrect in the LMS.

  • Ensure the user's email address is correct on NJ Direct. If the email is incorrect, it should be updated there first and the LMS will update within 24 hours.
