Interactive Mapping
Site Remediation Profile in ArcGIS Online (AGO):
The Site Remediation Profile in AGO has been
developed as a customized version of NJ-GeoWeb for those interested in Contaminated Site Remediation and Redevelopment (CSRR) regulated sites. The Site Remediation
Profile in AGO provides GIS layers and customized tools in an easy to use interface to allow the regulated community and general public to quickly identify
CSRR sites (Known Contaminated Sites and CSRR - Preferred ID) and other CSRR generated data such as Institutional Controls (Groundwater Contamination Areas
(CEA) and Deed Notice Areas); Brownfield Development Areas (BDA); Ground Water Contamination Areas (CKE); Child Care Centers; Chromate Waste Site Boundaries;
and Underground Storage Tank Facilities. Users can also confirm the location of the CSRR site in relationship to their own location or evaluate potential
receptors in close proximity to an CSRR site. The following guide is available to help new users navigate the basics of the Site Remediation Profile in AGO -
NJ GeoWeb Quick Start Users Guide.
The Department's NJ GeoWeb is also available for public use
and represents a more generic, interactive web-based mapping application that allows users to interact with the Department's GIS data over the internet.
