The mission of the Department of Banking and Insurance is to regulate the banking, insurance and real estate industries in a professional and timely manner that protects and educates consumers and promotes the growth, financial stability and efficiency of those industries.
The Department's main offices are located in the Mary Roebling building
at 20 West State Street (corner of West State Street and North Warren Street),
in Trenton.

Consumers can file for assistance with the Department if they need help with a banking, insurance or real estate issue/complaint.

- Route 1 South to Trenton. Exit at Perry Street. Turn left at traffic light (Facing Trenton Fire Headquarters). Follow Perry Street to the 4th traffic light. Turn left onto Warren Street. Look for parking garage on left.
- Department of Banking and Insurance is located in the 12-story building diagonally across from the garage.
From the SOUTH
- Route 295 North to Route 129 North. Route 129 North to Route 1 North. Exit at Perry Street (first exit). Turn left at stop sign (facing Trenton Times building). Follow Perry Street to fifth traffic light. Turn left onto Warren Street. Look for parking garage on left.
