Title I, Part A

Financial assistance to local educational agencies (LEAs) and schools with high numbers or high percentages of children from low income families to help ensure that all children meet challenging, State academic standards.

Migrant Education Programs

Direct, individualized support to persistently struggling schools.

Title III, Part A

Bilingual and English as a Second Language (ESL)
​Equitable educational opportunities for English Language Learners (ELLs) and immigrant students to succeed academically in compliance with the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA).

21st Century Community Learning Centers

Federally funded program for out-of-school-time programs in New Jersey, including before school, after school, and summer programs.​

Title I, SIA

Educational Stability for Children in Foster Care

Protections for children in foster care as authorized in the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA).

Gifted & Talented

School district responsibilities to identify and serve gifted and talented students as defined in the Strengthening Gifted and Talented Education Act. 

McKinney Vento: Education for Homeless Children and Youths Program

The protections and services provided to children and youth experiencing homelessness. The McKinney-Vento EHCY program ensures homeless children and youth have equal access to a free, appropriate public education and are able to enroll in and attend school.​

Nonpublic School Services

Nonpublic school services through federal programs for eligible students. All services are administered through the public school district.
