GetCoveredNJ is the only place where you can apply for financial help to lower the cost of your monthly premiums and out-of-pocket costs for health insurance.

Before you apply, use our shop and compare tool to compare plans and estimate how much financial help you may qualify for. All you need to do is give your income and household information. You will also have the choice to give information about your expected health care needs to help refine your plan choices. Once you find the plan that is right for you, you can apply to enroll in coverage.

You may qualify for financial help depending on your:

  • Location (where you live)
  • Household size (how many people are in your tax household)
  • Income (how much you make each year)

The Shop and Compare Tool takes you through a few simple steps to find the right medical plan for someone like you. Find every medical plan available to you ON and OFF Exchange, compared on total estimated cost (not just premiums or deductibles) and more. Use the tool to find out if you can get help paying for coverage.

Open Enrollment is in effect until January 31, 2026. Compare health and dental plans now and see if you qualify for financial help. Choose a plan by December 31 for coverage beginning January 1.
