Summary of each dashboard page, its purpose, and the type of information it presents.

Page	Purpose	Description
Immunization Trends	Overview of immunization status.	Comparison of a single immunization status within a specific year and across multiple years and counties by survey and grade.
County Map	Geographic comparison of immunization status.	Map of NJ that allows for comparison of a single immunization status in a single year by survey and grade showing all counties at the same time.
School Type Comparison	Comparing public vs. non-public schools on immunization status.	Comparison of a single immunization status within a specific year and across multiple years and counties by survey, school type, and grade.
Data Table	Data table that allows for viewing of all data that are on any of the other pages.
Data Notes	Provides detailed description of surveys and other important methodological information.

Key Terms & Definitions

Definitions of key terms used throughout the dashboard.

Term	Definition
Survey Year	Academic year. The year starts in September of the current year and ends in June of the next year. For example, the 2020–2021 survey year is the academic year that ran from September 2020 through June 2021.
All Schools	All public and non-public schools.
Public Schools	Public schools (Pre-K, elementary, middle, and high school); charter schools; Head Start programs.
Non-Public Schools	Private schools; religious schools; private Pre-K/childcare.
Meeting Requirements	Children who received each of the age-appropriate vaccines, excluding flu for Pre-K/Childcare.
Exemptions & Other Statuses (Combined)	Sum of Provisional, Medical Exemptions, Religious Exemptions, and Out of Compliance.
Provisional	Children admitted provisionally (pupil has received at least one dose of age-appropriate vaccine and is on schedule to receive subsequent doses based on the ACIP catch-up schedule).
Medical Exemptions	Children for whom a medical exemption was filed for any required vaccination.
Religious Exemptions	Children for whom a religious exemption was filed for any required vaccination.
Out of Compliance	Children who do not meet criteria for the other statuses.
ASR	Annual Immunization Status Report — completed by school personnel and does not report vaccine-level data.
Audit	Local Health Department School Immunization Audit — completed by local health department personnel and reports vaccine-level data.
DTaP	Diphtheria, Tetanus, acellular Pertussis vaccine. Indicates vaccine status for the following combinations: DTaP, DT, Td, Tdap.
Flu	Seasonal influenza vaccine.
HepB	Hepatitis B vaccine.
Hib	Haemophilus influenzae type B vaccine.
MCV4	Meningococcal conjugate vaccine (MenACWY).
MMR	Measles, Mumps, and Rubella vaccine.
PCV	Pneumococcal vaccine.
Var	Varicella (chickenpox) vaccine.
