The Bergen-Hudson Chronic Disease Coalition provides a forum for healthcare providers, other professionals, those affected by chronic diseases including cancer to network and learn from each other about state and organizational programs for patients, survivors and supporters. Through a collaborative effort, we provide a matrix of information and programming in Bergen and Hudson with an emphasis on chronic diseases including cancers: Skin, Oral, Lung, Colorectal, Prostate, Breast and Gynecological. The Coalition focuses on awareness, promotes early detection, provides resources for treatment, support groups and survivorship. The Bergen-Hudson Chronic Disease Coalition is one of 10 Regional Cancer Coalitions in the state of New Jersey in charged with implementing the New Jersey Comprehensive Cancer Control Plan at the local level.
